The 60° staggered round hole pattern.

The pattern most engineers ask for by name, and the one our perforating die layout work is built around. Its triangular, hexagonal geometry makes it the strongest perforation pattern available, spreading stress evenly across the sheet instead of concentrating it along the weak lines you get with straight row layouts.

STRENGTH

Because each hole sits at the apex of a triangle to its neighbors, load paths distribute across the full sheet rather than tearing along a single row. The result is a perforated panel that holds its structural integrity under stress, vibration, and repeated handling.

OPTIMAL OPEN AREA

The staggered layout delivers high open areas, up to 60 percent and beyond, for airflow, filtration, acoustics, and drainage, without sacrificing the rigidity your application depends on. It is the optimal open area pattern for demanding industrial work.
